Responsibilities:
The Brake Press Machine Operator is a key member of the production team and is responsible for conducting changeovers to different angles and sizes to ensure parts are formed according to specifications.
Checking and visually inspecting produced parts against specifications to ensure defect-free products
Installing dies during tooling changes and adjusting equipment to specifications
Entering production quantities for each order into the computer system
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Assisting in other departments as needed
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Skills:
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
High school diploma or GED
Ability to read a tape measure and protractor
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Ability to read, hear, communicate, operate lift trucks, wear required PPE, and repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand or walk for approximately 7.5 hours per work shift
Ability to work in varying temperatures during the winter and summer months
Work environment has moderate to loud noise levels
Must be available to work overtime during weekdays and potentially on weekends
