Spherion is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Stock Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, tracking, and preparing inventory throughout the facility. Using basic computer skills and inventory procedures, you will help maintain accurate stock levels, support shipping and receiving activities, and ensure materials are properly organized and staged for production and distribution.

Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
Organize and restock inventory, raw materials, and finished goods in designated locations.
Enter receiving logs, stock transfers, and inventory adjustments into the internal computer system.
Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
Verify quantities, part numbers, labels, and inventory records for accuracy.
Pick, pack, and prepare materials for internal departments and outgoing shipments.
Stage materials and products for production and distribution.
Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies as needed.
Keep the warehouse and stockroom clean, safe, and organized.
Follow established safety procedures and inventory-handling practices.
Work cooperatively with warehouse, production, shipping, and receiving teams.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Previous experience in stock, inventory, warehouse, shipping, or receiving.
Experience using inventory management or warehouse software.
Familiarity with receiving procedures, stock transfers, and cycle counts.
Experience working with part numbers, SKUs, labels, or inventory documentation.
Manufacturing or production environment experience.
Previous experience with picking, packing, staging, or material handling.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Basic computer skills, including the ability to enter data and navigate electronic systems.
Ability to accurately count, label, and verify inventory items.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move materials throughout the workday.
Ability to lift and move inventory items as required by the position.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
