Position Overview
A premier manufacturing client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding custom aluminum boxes for industrial electrical control panels, as well as performing structural welding for heavy-duty E-House project frames.

Key Responsibilities

Execute precise welds on metal components using TIG, MIG, FCAW, and oxy-fuel welding techniques.
Perform structural welding (3G and 4G positions) for E-House frames.
Fabricate, measure, cut, and prepare materials strictly according to project specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings prior to initiating each build.
Inspect completed welds to ensure strict adherence to blueprint tolerances and high-quality standards.
Source and handle raw materials necessary for scheduled welding projects.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications & Core Requirements
Welding Proficiency: Proven experience with TIG, MIG, Arc, and FCAW welding processes.
Material Gauge Experience: Prior hands-on experience working with 12, 14, and 16-gauge sheet metal as well as heavy tubing (1/4" and 3/8" wall thickness).
Blueprint Reading: Strong ability to read and fabricate directly from technical drawings and schematics.
Testing: Ability to successfully pass a hands-on FCAW weld test covering multiple gauges and heavy tubing.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of manual/mechanical welding, metallurgy, and material properties.
Communication & Precision: High attention to detail with solid verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive lifting, and handle heavy metal materials.
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precision work.
Standard industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to metalworking and welding fumes.
Steel-toed boots required (Clean work attire; all standard safety equipment/PPE provided on-site).
