Spherion Staffing is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented General Warehouse Associate to join our team in a fast-paced distribution environment. In this role, you will be a key part of the logistics chain for Sleep Number products, ensuring that inventory is handled with care and accuracy.
Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm, $18/hr

Unloading & Receiving: Safely unload inbound shipments containing Sleep Number mattresses, bases, and accessories from trailers.
Scanning & Tracking: Use handheld RF scanners to record incoming inventory, ensuring all items are accounted for in the warehouse management system.
Inventory Handling: Move product to designated storage areas or staging zones for outbound shipping.
Quality Control: Inspect packages for damage during the unloading process and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
General Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and disposing of debris.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with others to meet daily production goals.
Safety Conscious: Committed to following OSHA guidelines and warehouse safety standards.

Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items (up to 50 lbs+) repeatedly throughout an 8-hour shift.
Technical Aptitude: Experience with or ability to learn handheld scanning technology.
Reliability: Strong attendance record and a commitment to arriving on time for the 7:00 AM start.
