We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Warehouse Associate / Order Picker (Internal Title: Break Picker) to join our team at the Utah Distribution Center. In this role, you will perform floor-level order picking for items in quantities less than a full case. Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Includes two 15-minute breaks)
Position Type: Full-Time Temporary (Overtime potential during high-volume periods; potential temp-to-perm opportunity based on performance)
Responsibilities:
- Order Picking & Fulfillment: Perform floor-level picking of less-than-case quantity orders using rolling carts and totes.
- Technology Usage: Utilize hand scanners and tablets for picking orders, and operate desktop computers for manifest shipping processing.
- Cross-Functional Rotation: Rotate between picking, quality check manifest stations, and packing as needed:
- Manifest Station: Receive totes from pickers, perform quality checks against shipping labels, and generate required shipping documentation and packing slips.
- Packing: Securely package verified items for final shipment.
- Equipment Handling: Safely maneuver rolling carts weighing up to 75 lbs when fully loaded, and manually transfer totes between carts and packing stations.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
- Basic computer skills (experience with hand scanners, tablets, or warehouse tracking software is a plus).
- Reading comprehension and ability to accurately count items.
- High attention to detail, positive attitude, and strong teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and effective communication skills.
- Willingness to cross-train and work weekday overtime when order volumes are high.

- Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift or maneuver items weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Vision Requirements: Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Required Footwear & PPE: Steel-toe or composite-toe safety shoes are required on-site. (Note: Temporary slip-on steel-toe covers are available if needed). High-visibility safety vests are provided.
