Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour
Position Type: Temporary to Temp-to-Hire (TTH)
Assignment Duration: 1-4 weeks (with temp-to-hire potential for the right candidate)
Responsibilities:
-Inventory & Order Fulfillment: Pick, stock, stage, and sort materials accurately. Verify physical stock counts against order sheets.
-Loading & Unloading: Safely transfer materials (e.g., lumber, boards, pallets) to and from storage racks, shelves, and delivery vehicles.
-Cargo Protection: Secure loads using bracing, padding, or strapping to prevent damage during transit.
-Counter & Customer Support: Fill orders and assist installers or subcontractors at the sales counter.
-Equipment & Driving: Operate forklifts and warehouse machinery. Occasionally drive a company vehicle to pick up inventory or deliver materials locally.
-Safety & Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with company safety policies.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications:
-Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
-Experience: Prior warehouse, forklift, or material handling experience preferred.
-Problem-Solving & Supervision: Ability to follow established procedures, seek guidance on non-routine tasks, and work well under close supervision.
-Travel: Minimal overnight travel (less than 10%).
-Physical Capability: Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, stand for periods exceeding 60 minutes, and perform repetitive movements (bending, squatting, 10-key/calculator entry).
-Work Conditions: Active warehouse environment with exposure to moving machinery, loud noises, fumes, and temperature fluctuations.
