Responsibilities:
- Review parts requests, pick lists, work orders, and other material requests.
- Locate and retrieve parts and materials from designated storage areas.
- Verify part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and other identifying information.
- Pull and stage parts for production personnel and deliver materials to designated work areas as requested.
- Properly handle and protect parts to prevent damage, loss, or contamination.
- Assist with stocking, organizing parts, inventory counts, and identifying discrepancies.
- Check parts and packaging for visible damage or identification issues and report concerns to a supervisor.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, focusing on safety standards.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Ability to read numbers, labels, part numbers, and written instructions.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn company procedures and inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with supervisors and coworkers in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to adapt well to change and follow written and verbal instructions.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent / GED.
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, aviation, or material-handling experience is helpful but not required (1 year of general work experience preferred).
- Ability to work in a team environment with good communication skills.
- Physical capability to stand/walk for extended periods, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, climb, and lift/carry materials within established requirements.
