Responsibilities:
Material Handling & Logistics: Receive deliveries, verify shipments against packing lists, inspect for damage, and accurately process inventory receipts. Safely pick, pack, and stage materials for production builds and outbound shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Inventory Management: Track inventory using ERP or warehouse management systems. Maintain accurate records of material movements, part counts, and stock levels, performing regular cycle counts and supporting inventory audits.
Warehouse Organization: Maintain clean, clearly labeled, and well-organized storage areas, optimizing inventory layout for efficiency and safety. Assist in designing and building shelving and bin systems as needed.
Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain warehouse tools, lifting equipment, and packaging stations. Report any malfunctioning equipment promptly.
Safety and Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA, company, and industry safety standards, using appropriate PPE and enforcing safe material handling practices. Participate in safety training and help improve policies.
Collaboration & Communication: Proactively communicate with manufacturing, procurement, and engineering regarding material needs. Track and report inventory discrepancies, supply delays, or damaged parts, providing feedback for workflow improvements.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate shipping documentation, receiving logs, and inventory adjustments, utilizing digital tools to document issues and improvement ideas.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned to support operational goals.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Certifications: Active OSHA-compliant Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain).
Systems: Experience with ERP/WMS inventory systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Fishbowl).
Logistics Knowledge: Knowledge of shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL) and freight documentation.
Industry Background: Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or energy sector environments.

Qualifications:
Experience: High School Diploma/Equivalent and 2+ years of professional experience in warehouse, material handling, or inventory control.
Technical Familiarity: Familiarity with standard warehouse tools, pallet jacks, forklifts, and basic computer applications.
Documentation: Proven experience working accurately from pick lists, packing slips, or shipping/receiving documentation.
Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to record accuracy.
Work Ethic: Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive in fast-moving operations.
Physical: Ability to safely lift and move objects up to 50 lbs, stand/bend/execute repetitive tasks for prolonged periods, and read fine print/color-coding on drawings. Must report to work reliably and be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
