Spherion West Springfield, MA is seeking motivated individuals to join our team in this role. The Warehouse Worker is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and distribution operations. This role involves receiving, storing, moving, picking, packing, and shipping products accurately and efficiently to meet operational goals. Responsibilities:
Receive and unload incoming shipments; verify counts and inspect goods for damage.
Organize and store products in assigned locations.
Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment or storage.
Load outgoing trucks and freight with accuracy and according to shipping schedules.
Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (if trained).
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, adhere to safety protocols, and report issues to supervisors.
Support inventory accuracy by participating in cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
Assist in other tasks as needed to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
Previous warehouse or distribution experience
Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks
Familiarity with RF scanners or inventory systems
Basic computer skills
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Basic communication skills and teamwork ability
