Spherion is seeking motivated, reliable individuals to join our warehouse and fulfillment team for the upcoming peak season in Taylor, PA. In this role, you will be cross-trained across multiple fulfillment areas to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Pay Rate: $18.50 /hour
Schedule: Monday through Wednesday from 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, plus a short shift on Thursday (either 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM OR 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM).
Days Off: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday OFF.
Project Duration: Starting as soon as June 29th and running through November/December.
Responsibilities:
- Cooler Picking: Safely select light items using paper picking lists inside a temperature-controlled cooler environment (maintained at a brisk 30??F).
- Order Packing (Outside Cooler): Verify order accuracy and prepare items for outbound shipment using basic computer functions and handheld scanners.
- Thermosafe Packing: Work in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment along a conveyor line to securely pack temperature-sensitive products.
- Flexibility: Transition seamlessly between picking, packing, and staging areas as production volume shifts.
Skills:
- Previous Warehouse experience
- Attention to detail
Qualifications:
- Reliability: Must have dependable transportation to ensure excellent attendance throughout the peak season.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and twist for the duration of a 12-hour shift, and comfort working in a cold storage environment (30??F) for extended periods.
