We are looking for a welder on behalf of our client, a premier engineering firm that builds custom solutions for the world's toughest material handling challenges. Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and mechanical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding to strict AWS standards
- Ensure proper fit-up, alignment, and dimensional accuracy of all fabricated components
- Safely operate overhead and jib cranes following proper rigging and lifting procedures
- Identify and communicate fabrication issues early to maintain production timelines- Support lean manufacturing initiatives and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
- Experience in custom or low-volume/high-mix production environments
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks and the ability to interpret 2D/3D CAD drawings
- Previous experience working within a Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement framework

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of welding and fabrication experience within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience operating overhead and jib cranes in an industrial setting
- Deep understanding of welding materials, methods, and AWS standard-
- High proficiency in reading and interpreting complex technical drawings and work instructions
- Strong self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently
High energy level and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites
