Responsibilities:
Fabrication: Perform high-quality MIG (GMAW) welding on steel and aluminum components according to blueprints and technical drawings.
Setup & Prep: Set up welding machines, adjust voltage/wire feed speed, and prepare surfaces by grinding, buffing, or cleaning.
Quality Control: Inspect finished welds for bead size, penetration, and structural integrity to ensure they meet industry standards.
Assembly: Use clamps, fixtures, and hand tools to align parts for welding; assist in the general assembly of canopy frames and support structures.
Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean workspace and strictly adhere to all OSHA and facility safety protocols, including the consistent use of PPE.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Certification: AWS (American Welding Society) certification is a plus.
Fabrication Background: Experience specifically in structural steel or architectural metalwork.
Forklift Experience: Current or prior certification for moving large materials.
TIG Experience: Proficiency in TIG welding for specialized aluminum finishing.

Technical Proficiency: Proven experience in MIG welding (Steel/Aluminum).
Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret weld symbols, measurements, and fabrication drawings.

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8???10 hours per day in a manufacturing environment.
Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.
