We are seeking a skilled, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented Welder to join our marine manufacturing operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in fabricating and assembling high-quality aluminum pontoon boats. You will be responsible for welding structural components, including pontoons, frames, and brackets, ensuring all welds meet structural integrity and premium cosmetic standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:
-Precision Welding: Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on aluminum logs/tubes, chassis frames, support brackets, and other marine components.
-Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to accurately layout, fit, and weld assemblies.
-Quality & Inspection: Inspect raw materials and finished welds to ensure structural integrity, leak prevention, and data code or specification accuracy.
-Equipment & Tool Operation: Safely operate welding machines, plasma cutters, grinders, and standard metal fabrication hand tools.
-Material Handling: Manually lift, move, and position heavy aluminum structures and raw materials to maintain a steady production flow.
-Team Collaboration: Communicate proactively with supervisors and assembly teams to resolve production bottlenecks and report any material defects.
-Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company and departmental safety regulations, including the consistent and proper use of specialized personal protective equipment (PPE) such as welding helmets, respirators, and safety gear.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
-Prior welding or fabrication experience within the marine industry, specifically working on pontoon logs or boat hulls.
-Formal welding certification (AWS or equivalent) in aluminum welding.

Qualifications:
-Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding, with a strong focus on aluminum fabrication.
-Ability to read and follow blueprints, weld procedures, and fabrication layouts accurately under strict production deadlines.

-Strong attention to detail, especially regarding weld aesthetics, straightness, and structural quality control.
