Spherion Staffing is looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Woodworker / Cabinet Builder to join a top custom woodworking team in Lakeland, FL. This position involves crafting high-end cabinetry, millwork, and custom wood components on a reliable, full-time day shift schedule.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and skill level)
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and cut lists accurately.
Operate standard woodworking machinery (table saws, miter saws, routers, shapers, edgebanders, planers, jointers).
Mill rough lumber, cut materials to precise tolerances, and assemble cabinet carcasses, face frames, doors, and drawers.
Perform custom woodworking tasks including edge profiling, laminating, sanding, and joinery.
Inspect finished components for quality, fit, and finish before final pass-off.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop workspace.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Finishing Knowledge: Familiarity with spray-applied stains, lacquers, paints, or topcoats.
Hardware Installation: Experience installing soft-close hinges, drawer slides, and custom hardware.
Field Installation: Background in on-site cabinetry or millwork installation.

Qualifications:
Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in custom cabinet making, fine woodworking, or architectural millwork preferred.
Tool Knowledge: Proficient with shop equipment, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
Detail-Oriented: Strong spatial reasoning, accurate measuring, and an eye for quality craftsmanship.
Physical Capability: Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials up to 50 lbs regularly.
Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and dedicated to working a consistent Monday through Friday day shift.
