Spherion President Recognized for Driving Franchisee Performance, Compliance Readiness, and Community Impact Across the Company’s National Network

ATLANTA — Spherion Staffing & Recruiting (Spherion) announced today that President Kathy George has been named to Staffing Industry Analysts’ (SIA) 2026 Staffing 100 North America list, which recognizes influential leaders shaping the staffing and workforce industry across North America.

Now in its 15th year, SIA’s Staffing 100 North America list highlights executives whose leadership has made a measurable impact on their organizations and the broader workforce ecosystem. Honorees are selected by SIA’s independent editorial and research team based on demonstrated influence across areas such as growth strategy, operational leadership, innovation, culture, and navigating economic or regulatory change.

George was recognized for guiding Spherion through a challenging industry environment while strengthening operational performance, compliance readiness, and franchisee collaboration across more than 200 locally owned offices nationwide. Under her leadership, Spherion outperformed broader industry trends while continuing to invest in long-term franchisee success.

“I’m humbled to be recognized by SIA and included alongside so many leaders I respect, including my incredible colleagues at Randstad,” said George. “Beyond the recognition, what matters most to me is what this reflects about the Spherion community. Our franchise owners are out in their markets supporting clients and job seekers every day, along with our corporate support teams who help keep our organization moving forward. Together, they continue to serve their communities with care and integrity.”

Throughout 2025, George continued to adapt Spherion’s strategy to meet evolving industry demands. She strengthened Spherion’s leadership structure by introducing new roles focused on sharpening sales strategy and improving how teams serve clients. Acting on franchise owner insight, George launched new franchisee-led committees that give local Spherion owners a stronger voice in shaping performance and profitability across the system. She also led systemwide efforts to support compliance and audit readiness as regulatory requirements continue to evolve.

Beyond operational results, George’s leadership emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and balancing strategy with culture. A cornerstone of that approach was the creation of Spherion’s Community Impact Council in 2025, which brought together a collaborative group of corporate team members and franchisees dedicated to giving back to the communities they serve. The Council aligns business priorities with local impact, and reinforces Spherion’s long-standing belief that franchisee success and community investment go hand in hand.

The full 2026 Staffing 100 North America list and honoree profiles are available online and featured in the January/February 2026 issue of Staffing Industry Review. Honorees will also be recognized during SIA’s Executive Forum North America, held March 23–26 in Austin, Texas.
