Spherion of Central & Southwest Florida has selected a local charitable partner in each of our six communities to receive a $1,000 donation. Based on your votes, Gospel, Inc. in Lakeland has received an additional $1,000 to continue their work serving underprivileged individuals in central Florida.     The Leesburg, Florida Food Bank is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation staffed by unpaid volunteers who assist those in need with food, clothing, and other essentials.

    Wear Gloves Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization, founded in 2009, dedicated to helping those in need earn what they need. What’s behind the name? Matthew 9:37 says: “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few…” At Wear Gloves, we are ready to put on our gloves and get to work.

Empowering Our Local Communities through Generosity

Spherion brandishes the power of local through a network of independent and empowered franchise owners. Our offices enrich their communities through connecting and facilitating employment opportunities every day. This program gives our local franchisees the power to amplify the message of local charities within their communities and give back through a $1,000+ donations and volunteer events. 

Spherion’s Community Giveback Program began in 2014 and has donated more than $1 million to nonprofits nationwide. The charities vary in size, scope and cause, and are selected based on each organization’s ongoing efforts to create positive change in its local community. Some organizations that have received past contributions include:

  • The American Red Cross
  • American Cancer Society
  • Boys & Girls Clubs of America
  • Local food banks
  • Schools
  • Animal shelters

In addition to generous monetary donations, Spherion locations across the country partner with and volunteer their time with a wide variety of these organizations.
