Help our local offices give back

Spherion of Eastern & Central Pennsylvania has selected four local charitable partners from our communities to receive donations. We plan to award a grand donation of $5,000, a runner-up prize of $500, and two $250 donations in support of these nonprofits changing our communities for the better. This is where you come in! We need your help selecting which nonprofits should receive which amount.

    The mission of Parkland CARES Food Pantry is to feed and serve every member of our community affected by and suffering from hunger.

    Steelton-Highspire Roller Football Team

    The Steelton-Highspire Roller Football Program supports the development of character and leadership qualities in young men through football.

  • Carlisle

    The Salvation Army

    The mission of The Salvation Army is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and to promote the alleviation of human suffering. 

Empowering Our Local Communities through Generosity

Spherion brandishes the power of local through a network of independent and empowered franchise owners. Our offices enrich their communities through connecting and facilitating employment opportunities every day. This program gives our local franchisees the power to amplify the message of local charities within their communities and give back through $1,000 donations and volunteer events. 

Spherion’s Community Giveback Program began in 2014 and has donated more than $1 million to nonprofits nationwide. The charities vary in size, scope and cause, and are selected based on each organization’s ongoing efforts to create positive change in its local community. Some organizations that have received past contributions include:

  • The American Red Cross
  • American Cancer Society
  • Boys & Girls Clubs of America
  • Local food banks
  • Schools
  • Animal shelters

In addition to generous monetary donations, Spherion locations across the country partner with and volunteer their time with a wide variety of these organizations.
