1st forklift operator.

You would be operating a standing forklift, using handheld scanners, moving materials within the storage area, loading/unloading freight trucks, and picking products to fulfill orders.

Responsibilities:
Unload and load freight in an efficient, accurate, and safe manner. Identify, by lot number or other necessary means of identification, each pallet of product.
Move product to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stage the merchandise for storage in the appropriate area. Place palletized product in storage racks in the freezer and record or communicate location to the Plant Office.
Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped. Accurately mark products with appropriate identification and codes as required per customer requirements.
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
Operate any materials handling equipment safely and efficiently as required. Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, and storing functions, as required.
Maintain an orderly, clean, and neat work area. Operate material handling equipment in a safe manner. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Previous freezer warehouse experience

Qualifications:
The Warehouse Worker must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly.
The ability to operate a forklift; Must have previous experience.
He/she must also be capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
The ability to follow directions is extremely important.
Familiarity with handheld/RF scanners, and radio frequency equipment
Previous warehouse/distribution center experience
