Job Description:
Production Operator will be someone who adds special coatings to metal or plastic parts. These coatings—like chrome, zinc, or copper—make the parts and equipment look better and protect them from rusting or wearing out
Responsibilities:
- Prepare Parts: Clean and scrub parts so the coating sticks perfectly.
- Run the Machines: Use computer screens and hand controls to move parts into large tanks of liquid.
- Monitor the "Baths": Watch the chemical tanks to make sure they are at the right temperature and strength.
- Check for Quality: Use tools like micrometers (special rulers) to measure the thickness of the coating.
- Solve Problems: Use basic math and chemistry to adjust the liquids if the coating doesn't look right.
- Stay Safe: Wear safety gear and follow strict rules to handle chemicals and tools safely.
Education: High School
Experience: 6 months
Physical:
- Must be able to stand for a full 8 hour shift
