Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our accounting and finance operations.
This role is ideal for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field who has progressed beyond basic bookkeeping and is ready to take on greater responsibility.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, manage multiple tasks, and contribute to accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable oversight (review and analysis rather than data entry only).
- Support preparation of financial statements and internal reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries Identify process improvements and assist with special accounting projects as needed.
