In this role, your primary focus will be managing accounts receivable functions-from preparing accurate progress billings to customer account reconciliations. You will also provide hands-on support with builder billing portals, accounts payable, and month-end activities.
Responsibilities:
-Preparing and submitting billing, progress payments, deposits, and final invoices for commercial and production projects.
-Preparing and assisting with AIA payment applications and required project documentation.
-Reviewing contracts, work orders, change orders, and retainage terms to verify billing accuracy.
-Monitoring accounts receivable aging, documenting collection efforts, and resolving discrepancies.
-Entering and coding vendor invoices, matching purchase orders, and assisting with vendor statement reconciliations.
-Managing builder billing portals such as SupplyPro and BWP, ensuring lot and community tracking
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
-Familiarity with AIA billing formats and payment applications.
-Experience working with subcontractors or specialty trade contractors.
-Familiarity with builder portals such as SupplyPro or BWP.
-Understanding of retainage, lien waivers, and change orders

4-7 years
Qualifications:
-Hands-on accounting experience focused on accounts receivable, billing, collections, and reconciliations.
-Prior accounting experience within the construction industry.
-Solid working knowledge of general accounts payable processes.
-Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and Outlook.
-Strong problem-solving abilities and confident communication for payment follow-ups.
-Ability to work on-site, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
