We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Technician with a primary focus on Accounts Payable to join a growing Finance team.

Responsibilities:
Perform accounts payable and general accounting functions with high accuracy.
Utilize Microsoft 365 (specifically Excel and Word) for financial data and documentation.
Maintain effective working relationships and contribute as an active team player.
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet departmental deadlines.
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday-Friday
Qualifications:
A high school diploma and at least two (2) years of experience in an entry-level accounting or bookkeeping position.
Substitution: A two or four year degree featuring multiple completed accounting courses may be substituted for the required work experience.
Preferred Skills:
Prior knowledge or hands-on experience with SCEIS (South Carolina Enterprise Information System).
Solid understanding of general bookkeeping and accounts payable principles/best practices.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A collaborative mindset and a desire to be an active team player.
Permanent Transition Requirements (For Transparency)
While not required for your initial temporary placement, should this role transition into a permanent full-time position, you will need to provide:
Official academic transcripts to verify your degree (if applicable).
An official 10-year driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
