We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist for a temporary assignment lasting approximately 3 to 6 months. There might be an opportunity to get hired by the team in the future which will be based on performance and budget.
Responsibilities:
Generate and distribute accurate invoices and credit memos to customers in a timely manner.

Monitor aging reports and reach out to overdue accounts via phone and email to secure payment while maintaining high levels of customer service.
Perform monthly/weekly reconciliations of the AR sub-ledger against the general ledger to ensure data integrity.
Investigate and resolve customer billing discrepancies or short payments by collaborating with Sales and Operations departments.
Assist the Controller in preparing weekly and monthly reports on AR status and DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Previous experience working with an ERP system like SAP or Oracle.
Proven ability to negotiate payment plans and handle difficult collection conversations.
Familiarity/experience with the manufacturing industry

Qualifications:
Associate???s degree in Accounting or Finance is a minimum.
1+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or a similar corporate accounting role.
Strong proficiency in basic accounting principles and data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
At least Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
Ability to spot errors in complex billing statements and maintain organized digital records.
