Responsibilities:
You'll perform diverse administrative and secretarial duties, efficiently managing daily operations for the Information and Dispositions Office. This includes serving as a primary point of contact, handling public announcements, and registering visitors with professionalism. A core part of your role involves meticulous data entry and retrieval within various healthcare systems (e.g., Avatar, CIS, data system) to maintain accurate patient files, and assisting with urgent emergency notifications. You'll streamline patient flow by precisely reviewing and entering admission referrals, ensuring all new patient packets are complete and filed correctly. This involves screening admission documents for compliance, researching previous hospitalizations, and preparing necessary materials for wards. You'll also provide limited direct patient care during admissions, which includes escorting patients and interviewing them or their families for crucial information, while educating them on their rights and obtaining required signatures. For discharges, you'll accurately process and enter information, meticulously re-inventory and return patient valuables, and precisely document elopement statuses.
