Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This position is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of our apartment community and ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents. This role offers a consistent daytime schedule with no on-call responsibilities and no snow removal duties, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in occupied and vacant apartment units
- Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
- Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
- Prepare vacant units for new residents (turnovers/make-readies)
- Repair drywall, paint, flooring, doors, windows, and fixtures
- Maintain common areas, hallways, and property grounds
- Communicate effectively with property management and residents
Education: High School/GED
