We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Assembler to join our growing production team.
As an Assembler, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing of high-quality products.
You will perform a variety of repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations, adhering to established standards, diagrams, drawings, and assembly procedures.
...
Your commitment to quality, accuracy, and adherence to strict regulatory guidelines will be crucial to our success.
Must pass Drug Screening and Background Check.
Must have reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
What You?ll Be Doing
Quality Check: Inspect your work as you go. If something doesn't look right, you?re empowered to speak up.
Documentation: Keep basic logs of production numbers and any parts that aren't meeting our standards.
Collaboration: Work alongside team members, keeping production running smoothly.
Working hours: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
Fine Motor Skills: Faucets contain small components like springs, washers, and decorative clips. You need high manual dexterity to handle these without dropping or damaging them.
Visual Inspection: You'll need a "hawk eye" for surface defects. This includes spotting scratches in the chrome, tarnishing on brass, or irregularities in the finish.
Testing Procedures: Experience with pressure testing or "drip testing" is highly valued. Knowing how to use air or water to verify a seal's integrity is a critical final step.
Dexterity & Coordination: The ability to perform repetitive motions quickly and accurately while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Safety Adherence: Strict following of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) protocols and an understanding of workshop safety to prevent injuries from tools or heavy components.
Reading Instructions: Whether it?s a digital manual or a paper SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), you must be able to follow multi-step directions exactly as written.
Tool Competency: Mastery of basic assembly tools (power drills, manual drivers, wrenches) is mandatory. You must know which tool is appropriate for which fastener to avoid stripping threads or damaging materials.
Basic Mathematics: You need to be comfortable with decimals and fractions for measurements.
Measurement Tool Usage: You must be able to accurately use and read a tape measure, and often more precise tools like calipers or micrometers.
Quality Verification: The ability to compare a finished part against a "master" sample or a list of specifications to confirm it was built correctly.
Safety Protocol Adherence: Strict following of lockout/tagout procedures and the consistent use of PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots).
Attendance & Punctuality: Assembly lines rely on every "station" being manned. If one person is missing, the entire line may stop, making reliability a core requirement.
