Spherion Staffing in Sarasota is currently seeking experience assemblers to work with us at a local door manufacturer here in Bradenton!
Schedule: 7am-3:30pm - Mon-Fri (with overtime available)
Pay Rate: $17/hour
This is a TEMPORARY project lasting up to 1 month with the opportunity of staying on with the company permanently.

Responsibilities:
Assembly: Use hand and power tools to assemble door frames, panels, and hardware.
Component Prep: Inspect wood or composite materials for defects and prep them for assembly.
Quality Control: Ensure all doors meet quality standards by checking measurements and alignment.
Material Handling: Move finished products to the staging area and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing required PPE (Safety glasses, ear protection, etc.).
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Technical Aptitude: Comfort using basic hand tools and measuring tapes.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
Detail Oriented: Ability to follow multi-step instructions and read basic measurements.
Reliability: A track record of being on time and ready to work.
Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with others on the assembly line to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications:
Must have some basic assembly experience using hand tools and power tools.
Must be able to pass a Drug Screen and National Background check.
