As the Assistant Plant Manager, you will be the primary leader for the night-shift operations. You will lead a dedicated team to ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for operational excellence and maintaining a high-standard safety culture during peak production hours.

The Rendering Process: What You???ll Manage:
In this role, you oversee a sophisticated "dry rendering" process???an essential form of upcycling that converts organic materials into high-value proteins and fats.
Key Responsibilities:
Shift Leadership: Foster a culture of safety and precision for the night-shift team in a high-heat, high-demand environment.
Process Optimization: Monitor and adjust cook times, temperatures, and pressures to maximize yield and product quality.
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain absolute command of HACCP and FDA/USDA regulations regarding animal feed safety.
Mechanical Oversight: Support the maintenance of heavy-duty equipment, including screw conveyors, industrial cookers, and high-pressure boilers.
Working hours: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Skills:
Compliance Expertise: Proven history of managing industry safety standards and environmental permits.

High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Industry Background: Must have direct experience in an animal by-product, rendering, or organic recycling facility.
Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret gauges and VFD outputs to troubleshoot the production line in real-time.
