Spherion is hiring Axle Assemblers in Sioux Falls. In this role, you will assemble, test, and verify axles and related components on an active assembly line to ensure high-quality standards, safety, and customer specifications are met.
Pay: $20-21/hour
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 5:30am-2pm, overtime voluntary (3pm end, 1 OT hr/day)

Responsibilities:
Assembly & Operation: Read order sheets, select correct components, load/unload production lines, and adjust or change production tooling.
Quality Control: Perform 100% manual inspections, measure parts with precision tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges), and apply offsets to meet specs.
Maintenance & Cleanliness: Complete daily preventative maintenance, clear chips/shavings, replenish fluids, and follow 5S workplace cleanliness standards.
Documentation & Safety: Complete required production paperwork and strictly adhere to all safety regulations.
Working hours: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM

Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using precision measuring tools.
