Role Highlights:

- Location: Rockford, IL (Heavy Manufacturing/Foundry)
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and continuously monitor high-pressure industrial boilers, air compressors, pumps, and associated equipment
- Diagnose and immediately troubleshoot operational issues; perform routine and preventive maintenance (PMs), including repairing and replacing fittings, gaskets, and controls
- Conduct and evaluate routine boiler water quality tests and administer necessary chemicals to ensure system longevity and efficiency
- Maintain detailed operational logs and strictly adhere to all federal, state, and local codes and safety regulations (including LOTO)
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Valid Boiler Operator/Stationary Engineer License (State Certified) is required or highly preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating and maintaining high-pressure boilers in an industrial setting
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of steam systems, water treatment, hydraulics, and combustion processes
- Aptitude: Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and work independently with minimal supervision
