Responsibilities:
Read and Interpret Blueprints: Analyze detailed shop drawings, blueprints, and architectural schematics to determine exact specifications, dimensions, and assembly sequences for custom stairs and cabinetry.

Fabricate and Assemble Components: Fit, glue, dowel, screw, and clamp wooden parts together to build premium cabinets, stair treads, risers, stringers, balusters, and handrails.

Operate Woodworking Machinery: Safely and accurately operate a variety of shop tools, including table saws, miter saws, routers, band saws, pneumatic nail guns, biscuit joiners, and sanders.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
Machine & Tool Proficiency: Skilled operation of stationary woodworking machinery (table saws, shaper tables, jointer/planers, band saws) and pneumatic hand tools (nailers, routers, sanders).

Material Knowledge: Deep understanding of wood species (hardwoods vs. softwoods), grain patterns, moisture expansion, and how different adhesives, glues, and fasteners react to different materials.

Spatial Reasoning: Strong three-dimensional spatial awareness to visualize how flat blueprints translate into complex, winding staircases and multi-angled cabinet layouts.

Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Ability to catch design or cut errors early in the assembly process and make adjustments before final glue-up.

Physical Stamina & Dexterity: Comfort standing for long periods, handling large lumber sheets or heavy stair stringers, and maintaining the hand-eye coordination required for intricate hand-tool work.

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and squat for an 8-to-10-hour shift on a concrete shop floor.

Heavy Lifting: Must be able to safely lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs regularly (and up to 150 lbs occasionally with assistance) for heavy stair stringers and large plywood sheets.

Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to shop safety protocols, including a proven track record of wearing proper PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, dust masks) and maintaining a clean workstation.

Math & Geometry Skills: Strong practical math skills, including the ability to quickly calculate fractions, decimals, and angles (critical for determining stair rises, runs, and cabinet reveals).

Tool Competency: Demonstrated experience safely operating professional shop equipment, including table saws, miter saws, routers, shapers, and pneumatic fastening tools.
