We are seeking a Calibration Technician to oversee the lifecycle of measurement and inspection equipment.
In this role, you will act as the vital link between our internal teams and external service providers, ensuring all tools are precise, compliant, and ready for production.

Responsibilities:
Vendor Coordination: Manage external calibration and repair services, including scheduling, shipping, and on-site support.
System Management: Use GageTrak to track equipment status, service history, and upcoming calibration deadlines.
Procurement: Coordinate the purchase of new measurement tools, verify receipts, and enter new assets into the tracking system.
Compliance & Documentation: Review and approve calibration certificates and records to ensure full traceability and QMS compliance.
Internal Support: Perform limited internal calibrations (e.g., mylars) and apply calibration labels to released equipment.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Collaborate with Shipping, Receiving, Purchasing, and Engineering to minimize production downtime.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Software: Experience with Epicor ERP.
Vendor Management: Prior experience coordinating with external service providers or contractors.
Communication: Strong professional writing and verbal skills for interacting with external vendors.

High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 3?5 years of experience using basic measuring tools and gauges.
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of metrology principles and mechanical/electronic gauging systems.
Organizational Ability: Proven track record of managing multiple service activities simultaneously with high accuracy.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and move between campus buildings/departments.
