The Clean Room Assembler welds, assembles and tests high purity components for the semiconductor industry. Welding, assembly and testing is performed in a clean and controlled environment, in accordance with all work and test instructions.
Responsibilities:
Read blueprint drawings, schematics and job orders to understand customer specifications for assembly and testing of components.

??? Assemble and weld quality components that meet customer specifications and deadlines, without rejection, in a fast paced work environment.
??? Adhere to clean room protocols for gowning and working in a class 5 and 7 clean room.
??? Use basic computer navigation to retrieve work instructions describing the assembly and testing requirements for each assembly to be performed.
??? Use small hand tools like screwdrivers and adjustable torque wrenches to assemble components.
??? Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to determine stack up of dimensional requirements of components during assembly.
??? Perform testing on components using air and or water per the test instruction.
??? Troubleshoot and perform related repairs on components that fail testing.
??? Clean, label, and package components per product specifications.
??? Maintains work space before, during, and after each scheduled shift in accordance with 5S principles.
??? Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations.
??? Contribute to team effort by performing other supporting tasks as directed by the Shift Supervisor or Lead.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Skills:
??? Manual dexterity required to weld and assemble components, and effectively utilize measuring and testing equipment.
??? Good vision to read written materials and measuring instruments.
??? Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Education:
No Degree Required
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
??? Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required - HS Diploma or equivalent.
??? Ability to read, understand and follow written materials including blueprint drawings, schematics, job orders, etc.
??? Knowledge of and ability to use welding tools and basic quality measuring equipment i.e. calipers and visual scopes.
??? Minimum of 1 year experience in a class 5 or 7 clean room.
??? Mechanical aptitude and basic computer knowledge
??? Able to operate pneumatic and water testing equipment.
??? Strong work ethic, attention to detail, good attendance and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
??? Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
