Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and procedures while maintaining the highest standards of maintenance.
Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
Maintain the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the facility, identifying and addressing maintenance trends and issues
promptly.
Collaborate cross-departmentally to achieve objectives, contributing to a proactive and interactive working environment.
Direct daily activities, plan schedules, and manage department equipment and supply inventory efficiently.
Respond promptly to maintenance needs and ensure professional and courteous service to guests and staff.
Install and maintain equipment related to HVAC, water treatment, fire safety, etc.
Perform daily property inspections and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program.
Provide on-call support for emergencies and cover shifts as needed.
Be flexible to adjust schedules as management deems necessary to properly cover business needs.
Manage the R&M (Repair and Maintenance) budget, negotiate service contracts, and oversee capital expenditure (CapEx) projects.
Monitor and optimize utility consumption (water, electricity, gas) to hit sustainability goals and reduce overhead.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
Technical certifications preferred but not required
Experience with Building Management Systems (like Honeywell, Johnson Controls, or Schneider) to monitor energy and climate remotely
Basic competency in carpentry, drywall, painting, and masonry to maintain facility
Previous experience managing the R&M (Repair & Maintenance) P&L, tracking utility costs, and labor expenses preferred

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
Leadership and team lead experience
Well-organized, self-motivated, and able to maintain composure in all situations
Ability to read, write, and understand English
Knowledge of common equipment malfunctions and ability to repair basic heating and A/C systems
Familiarity with pool and spa chemicals, regulations, and equipment maintenance
Elevator and fire equipment handling proficiency
