Job Description:
Our client in Bentleyville, PA is seeking 2 part-time LPN, that could eventually lead to an optional Full-Time.
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our mental health long-term residential team.
This position plays a key role in supporting residents with chronic mental health needs by providing quality nursing care, promoting stability, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, and monitoring resident health status.
- Support residents with mental health conditions by promoting coping skills, de-escalation, and therapeutic communication.
- Document all nursing interventions, observations, and resident progress accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and behavioral health staff to support individualized care plans.
- Participate in crisis intervention procedures as needed.
- Assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) when required.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment consistent with facility policies.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
- LPN License.
Experience: 1 months
- Valid LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Previous experience in mental health, residential treatment, or long-term care preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and crisis-management skills.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and supportive during challenging situations.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to resident-centered care.
