Responsibilities:
??? Machine Setup & HMI Operation:
??? Use the HMI (Human-Machine Interface) to load nesting files and prepare the
machine for production.
??? Perform full machine setups, ensuring all components are calibrated for the
specific material and thickness required.
??? Programming & Adjustments:
??? Interpret and program/adjust settings such as voltage, gas pressures, torch
height, and feed speeds to optimize cut quality.
??? Fine-tune nesting layouts to maximize material yield and reduce waste.
??? Production & Fabrication:
??? Load materials (various metals and thicknesses) onto the cutting table safely
using appropriate lifting equipment.
??? Operate the plasma cutting system to fabricate parts according to blueprints and
technical specifications.
??? Quality Assurance:
??? Monitor cuts for quality and accuracy in real-time, identifying issues like
excessive dross or dimensional deviations immediately.
??? Inspect finished parts for clean edges and precise tolerances before they move
to the next stage of fabrication.
??? Maintenance:
??? Maintain computer-controlled plasma cutting machines by performing
routine cleaning and replacing consumables (nozzles, electrodes, etc.).
