Responsibilities:
Set Up & Calibrate: Prepare CNC milling machines with necessary tooling, fixtures, offsets, and programs.
Quality Control: Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to maintain tight tolerances.
Production: Run production cycles, ensuring machines operate smoothly and consistently.
Troubleshoot: Diagnose setup or machining issues and adjust parameters (speeds/feeds) to ensure perfection.
Maintenance: Handle routine tool changes, lubrication, and document inspection results.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience operating multi-axis or vertical/horizontal mills.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Edgecam, Esprit).
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
Ability to mentor or train junior CNC associates.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Experience: 2?5 years of proven CNC milling setup and operation experience.
Technical Literacy: Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T with high confidence.
Programming: Comfort working with G-code and standard CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Mazak).
Tooling Knowledge: Strong understanding of speeds, feeds, and material behavior.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
