Responsibilities:
Program Development: Create complex 3, 4, and 5-axis programs for vertical and horizontal mills.
Process Optimization: Audit existing programs to implement high-speed machining (HSM) techniques and minimize air-cut time to maximize throughput.
Fixture Design: Develop programs optimized for multi-part fixtures and tombstone setups to increase "green light" machine time.
Collaboration: Work with engineering to select high-performance tooling and rigid work-holding solutions for aggressive cycle time targets.
Compliance & Setup: Ensure all programs meet ISO 13485 standards; create detailed setup sheets and support operators during First Article Inspections (FAI).
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience in medical device manufacturing or another highly regulated industry (Aerospace, Semiconductor).
Proven track record of cycle-time reduction and process optimization.

Qualifications:
Experience: 2+ years of CNC programming in a high-precision, high-volume environment.
Milling Expertise: Proven track record programming both Vertical (VMC) and Horizontal (HMC) milling centers.
Software Proficiency: Strong command of Mastercam, Esprit, or NX.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and trigonometry.
Optimization: Demonstrated ability to significantly reduce cycle times through advanced toolpath strategies.
