Responsibilities:
Forklift Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to load and unload refrigerated trucks and containers.
Inventory Tracking: Use handheld RF scanners to scan barcodes, track incoming/outgoing products, and maintain inventory accuracy.
Staging & Moving: Move large pallets of cold products to and from designated storage blast-freezers or shipping docks.
Safety & Upkeep: Maintain a clean work area and perform daily safety checks on your forklift to prevent accidents in a cold climate.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Skills:
Previous experience specifically working in a cold storage, produce warehouse, or refrigerated logistics facility.
Experience with scanning software or warehouse management systems (WMS).
Prior forklift certification.
Education:

Qualifications:
Forklift Experience: Proven experience operating a sit-down or stand-up forklift safely.
Cold Tolerance: Must be 100% comfortable working an entire shift in a 30-degree cold storage environment.
Tech Basics: Ability to learn and use handheld electronic scanners for tracking inventory.
Reliability: Excellent attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are required.
