Spherion Staffing is hiring a part-time, temp-to-hire Commercial Cleaner for client locations in the Chico area. This position starts at 10-12 hours per week at $18-$20 per hour, with the potential for increased hours once dependability is established. The role involves routine janitorial cleaning at our clients' businesses following specific service schedules. Responsibilities:
Sweep, dust mop, wet mop, and vacuum floors.
Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, counters, and fixtures.
Empty trash and replace liners.
Wipe cleared desks, counters, tables, window ledges, and other designated surfaces.
Clean kitchen and breakroom counters and sinks.
Clean door glass and remove cobwebs as needed.
Keep cleaning equipment and supplies clean and organized.
Report low supplies, equipment problems, damage, or other concerns.
Follow each location?s access and lockup instructions.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Previous experience in janitorial work or commercial cleaning is helpful but not necessary.
Education:
High School

1-4 years
Qualifications:
Reliable and punctual, with prompt communication regarding scheduling.
Strong attention to detail to consistently complete assigned checklists.
Ability to work independently without constant supervision and work well with others.
Reliable transportation to reach assigned job sites.
Ability to follow instructions for the safe use of cleaning products and equipment.
Respect for clients? property, privacy, and security.
Physical ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, reaching, repetitive cleaning motions, and moving cleaning supplies/equipment.
