Job Description:
Spherion Staffing is looking for a skilled full-time Painter to help make local homes and businesses look their best. In this role, you will prepare walls and apply paint, stains, and other finishes to both indoor and outdoor surfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, sand, and patch walls to make sure they are smooth before you start painting.
- Use brushes, rollers, and sprayers to apply paint, stain, and protective coatings.
- Work on both indoor rooms and outdoor surfaces for homes and businesses.
- Fix up damaged surfaces using drywall, plaster, or stucco to make them look new again.
- Read simple work plans and color guides to make sure you use the right paints for each project.
- Do basic math to measure walls and figure out how much paint you need to buy.
Education: No formal education required.
Experience: 36 months
- Residential painting (required)
- Must have reliable transportation
