Spherion is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service / HR Admin to join our team. This dual-function position combines customer service, HR administration, office support, and basic bookkeeping tasks. Serve as a primary point of contact for customer and client inquiries.
Respond to questions, provide accurate information, and help resolve issues in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate customer and account records.
Assist with employee onboarding and required employment documentation.
Maintain organized and up-to-date personnel files.
Track employee leave requests and related documentation.
Provide administrative support for HR policies, procedures, and compliance activities.
Assist with basic QuickBooks tasks, including invoice entry and vendor payment processing.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial and administrative records.
Prepare emails, documents, spreadsheets, and other office communications.
Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for daily administrative tasks.
Maintain organized digital and electronic filing systems.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Provide general administrative support to the office team as needed.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 AM
Skills:
Previous experience in a combined customer service and HR administrative role.
Experience with employee onboarding and personnel records.
Familiarity with basic bookkeeping and accounts payable processes.
Experience working with QuickBooks.
Knowledge of HR procedures and employment documentation.
Previous experience in an office or professional services environment.

Qualifications:
Associate degree required.
Previous experience in Human Resources administration or a related administrative role.
Experience providing customer service and handling client or employee inquiries.
Basic knowledge of QuickBooks.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Accurate data entry and recordkeeping skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organization.
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
