Job Description:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for entering incoming orders, preparing standard quotes, and providing essential support to the Sales and Service departments.
This role will also complete additional assignments and responsibilities as directed by management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop SAP quotations for machine spare parts, consumables, tooling, contract services, and other items by collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Support Regional Business Managers with feasibility quotations and order entry. Present quotations to customers and follow up to convert opportunities into sales.
- Provide prompt and professional support in response to customer questions and requests.
- Conduct commercial contract reviews and process customer purchase orders in SAP.
- Assist the Customer Service Manager with special projects as assigned.
- Participate in the Customer Feedback process. Complete supplier survey forms for customers.
- Maintain Salesforce.com records by updating active/inactive machine serial numbers.
- Provide backup support to Customer Service team members when needed.
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 3 months
Skills:
- Previous customer service or internal sales experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to understand machine tools and related components.
- Self-starter capable of working independently in an office environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
