In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients navigating their financial accounts, providing empathetic support, resolving inquiries, and assisting with balance resolutions.

Responsibilities:
- Patient Support & Communication: Handle high-volume inbound and select outbound phone calls from patients, physician offices, and insurance carriers with professionalism and empathy.
- Account & Billing Resolution: Answer questions regarding billing statements, insurance claim processing, and financial policies; troubleshoot complex account inquiries to guide patients toward resolution.
- Payment Assistance: Confidently discuss financial obligations and process self-pay patient balances.
- Account Maintenance & Quality: Accurately update patient demographic and contact details while strictly adhering to HIPAA guidelines and quality assurance standards.
- Documentation & Teamwork: Maintain detailed, clear records of all account interactions and collaborate across administrative departments to deliver a seamless patient experience.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a call center, customer service, collections, healthcare customer service, or revenue cycle role.
Skills: Strong communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of empathy.
Performance Focus: Proven success in a metrics-driven environment balancing productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Adaptability: Ability to process information quickly and accurately in a fast-paced workplace.
Bonus points for:
- Background in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Operations or Patient Financial Services.
- Prior experience with Epic electronic health record software (Revenue Cycle or Customer Service modules).
- Previous experience in medical billing or healthcare collections.
