Job Description:
Do you have a sharp eye for detail? Our plastics factory is looking for Inspectors and Packers. In this job, you are the final person to check our plastic products before they are sent to customers. You will work at a machine that "injects" hot plastic into molds to create things like bottle caps, car parts, or storage bins. Your job is to make sure every part is perfect.
Responsibilities:
- Watch the Machine: Collect plastic parts as they come out of the injection molding machine.
- Inspect for Defects: Look closely at each part. You are checking for "flashing" (extra plastic bits), bubbles, or the wrong color.
- Trim Parts: Use small hand tools to safely clip off any extra plastic edges.
- Pack with Care: Once the parts pass your test, count them and place them neatly into boxes.
- Label and Stack: Tape the boxes shut, stick on a label, and put them on a pallet to be shipped out.
Education: High School
Experience: 12 months
Physical:
- You must be able to stand for a 12 hour shift
