Spherion is hiring Maintenace Technicians for a leading building materials company in Brownsburg, IN. The DC Monitor & Material Technician is responsible for the oversight of the facility's Dust Collection (DC) systems and the continuous flow of raw materials into the production line. This role ensures that the environmental controls are functioning to maintain a safe workspace while managing the intake of corrugated waste.

Responsibilities:
System Monitoring: Regularly inspect and monitor the Dust Collection (DC) system to ensure optimal airflow and prevent fiber buildup that could lead to fire hazards or equipment failure.
Material Loading: Load raw corrugated materials into production equipment and machines to maintain constant operation.
Preventative Maintenance: Perform minor maintenance on the DC system, such as clearing blockages, lubricating bushings, or adjusting conveyor belts associated with waste intake.
Forklift Operation: Safely use forklifts to move bulk raw materials from the unloading docks to the production staging areas.
Safety & Standards: Operate all equipment and vehicles in accordance with strict safety standards to maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace.

Senior Support: Partner with senior manufacturing technicians to facilitate more complex repairs on the material handling and dust extraction systems.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Skills:
A background in mechanics, construction, or other related field
Forklift experience
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Experience: 1 to 5 years of manufacturing experience performing maintenance-related tasks on heavy equipment.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate a large manufacturing facility
