Responsibilities:
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment (such as grinders, deburring knives, sanders, and tumblers) to remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined metal or plastic parts.
Perform visual and tactile quality checks to ensure finished components meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Blend, buff, polish, and smooth surfaces to achieve required surface finishes without altering critical part dimensions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following all company OSHA guidelines and safety protocols.
Support team production goals, clean parts prior to inspection/plating, and assist with general shop floor duties as assigned.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Skills:
Prior experience in a manufacturing, machining, aerospace, or precision metal fabrication environment.
Basic understanding of blueprint reading, engineering drawings, or shop math.
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, or optical comparators.
Experience with various metals (aluminum, stainless steel, titanium) and plastics.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail for handling small and intricate parts.
Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions, blueprints, or route sheets accurately.
Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 35???50 lbs as required by shop operations.
Dependable work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn on-the-job techniques.
