Responsibilities:
-Establish and maintain a rigorous service protocol (oil, lube, tires, etc.) to ensure our fleet and equipment remain road-ready while minimizing downtime.
-Professionalize the scheduling and parts-ordering process. You will keep the shop and warehouse organized, manage inventory levels, and ensure the shop is stocked and ready for service.
-Balance technical mechanical duties with administrative organization, ensuring all daily shop activities are completed safely and efficiently.
Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
-A "can-do" attitude with the ability to resolve technical bottlenecks quickly. You are comfortable pivoting between administrative tasks (like scheduling and ordering) and hands-on mechanical work.
-Comfortable using computers/software for inventory management, scheduling, and ordering supplies.
Education:
No Degree Required
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience as Mechanic. Diesel-specific experience is a plus, but not required.
-A proven background in general repairs, tires, and preventative maintenance (engine building is not required).
-Ability to work independently, take initiative, and build efficient shop processes.
