We are seeking a skilled, self-motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Brooksville. This role is designed for a technician who can "step right in" and begin contributing to the maintenance of our trucks and heavy equipment. You won't be expected to supervise others, but you must have the expertise to work autonomously, read work orders accurately, and ensure our fleet remains road-ready and safe.

Responsibilities:
-Independent Maintenance: Execute daily repairs and maintenance tasks on diesel engines and heavy equipment based on assigned work orders.
-Diagnostics and Repair: Perform troubleshooting and mechanical repairs with high accuracy and minimal supervision.
-Documentation: Read and interpret service tickets/work orders and maintain clear records of completed work.
-Proactive Communication: Identify when a job requires further clarification and consult with the team to ensure the task is done right the first time.
-Safety & Upkeep: Maintain a safe workspace and ensure all equipment meets operational safety standards.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
