Responsibilities:
Core Priorities:
Operational Accountability: Supervise daily shop activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to the owner?s expectations.
Preventative Maintenance: Establish and enforce a rigorous maintenance protocol (oil, lube, tires, etc.) to ensure equipment is road-ready and downtime is minimized.
Workflow Optimization: Organize the shop and warehouse, manage inventory levels, and professionalize the scheduling and parts-ordering process.
Team Leadership: Serve as the primary supervisor for shop staff, handling delegation, training, and disciplinary actions (write-ups) as needed.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Self-Starter Mentality: Ability to work independently and build shop processes from the ground up.
Strong Organization: Excellence in warehouse management and documentation.
Problem Solving: A "can-do" attitude with the ability to resolve technical and personnel bottlenecks quickly.
Adaptability: Comfortable in a family-business setting where you may need to pivot between managerial tasks and hands-on mechanical work.

Qualifications:
Mechanical Expertise: Proven background as a Diesel Mechanic; must be proficient in general repairs, tires, and preventative maintenance (engine building not required).
Leadership History: Previous experience supervising staff, preferably in a small-to-mid-sized shop or construction environment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy equipment, and work in various field conditions.
Digital Proficiency: Must be comfortable using computers for scheduling, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
Industry Background: Experience in septic, site work, or heavy equipment industries is highly preferred.
